The depot museum emphasizes the important role the railroad played in the growth of the town. The front rooms of the building have been restored to “be as they were” when it was a working railroad station. The rest of the facility contains exhibits on education, health care, local institutions, and much more. The historical society has developed a history hunt for kids to utilize for exploring the museum. The museum is also an official Welcome Center for the City of Tarpon Springs.
